Occupational and Physical Therapy

Improving outcomes for people who need to remain productive at work and at home.

The purpose of Occupational Therapy (OT) is to help people increase their functional independence in daily life while preventing or minimizing disability. At The Freedman Group one-on-one treatment is always provided by a licensed Occupational Therapist without the use of aides or techs. Treatment is provided by the same therapist during each treatment visit, resulting in improved outcomes and fewer treatment visits.

The latest techniques and treatment philosophies are utilized to provide rehabilitation and compensatory techniques to maximize independence and minimize the impact of the injury or illness on daily life, work tasks, and leisure activities.

Occupational Therapy evaluations and treatment: a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation.

They include not only musculoskeletal (e.g., muscle strength, range of motion); sensory; or connective tissue assessment and treatment, but also consider how relevant medical, vocational, and/or avocational history impact recovery.

Interventions are designed to meet realistic outcomes with recommendations for home exercise programs and adaptive aides (when needed).

At The Freedman Group we treat:
